Cancer Summit 2022

The Cancer Summit 2022, was the third edition of the event, hosted by the Integrated Health and Wellbeing Council, a not-for-profit organization based in New Delhi, following two immensely successful editions of the same in 2021. The virtual Cancer Summit this year, which saw the participation of some of the most renowned oncologists, government authorities, healthcare experts in the form of dignitaries and experts and they used the platform to propose the need for more innovative approaches to ensure accessibility, affordability, and most importantly, equitability of cancer care and treatment in developing countries like India.

The third edition of the Cancer Summit 2022 also shed light on other critical areas related to cancer such as the role of timely diagnosis, consequences of delayed services, the need for funding sources to ensure universal health coverage for cancer care by forging cross-sectoral partnerships and collaboration, launch of a global movement for women’s cancer, and most importantly, reimagining cancer care by implementing a RAPID model.
